What are the needs of Covid-19 patients that are isolated at home and what actions can be developed to solve them? We show the first patient journey map of the Covid-19 patient at home and the summary of the empirical study undertaken in order to find solutions.
After one month of co-creation out the study on Covid-19 patient needs, the efforts of patients and healthcare professionals paid off with the creation of the first Covid-19 patient community on the Pacientalia platform. This platform integrates solutions that give answer to the four main challenges patients expressed. During the co-creation workshops they demanded "a friendly voice" and have the support of fellow patients. The platform allows Covid patients to connect among them and support each other. With webinars of quality and endorsed content as well as forums were patients can talk with healthcare professionals the need of reliable information. Some patient needs, like logistic support, are not implemented yet, but the platform is ready to integrate them. Pacientalia can be downloaded on Apple and Android.
